Associate Professor and Interim Director of Cognitive Science
Psychological Science

Research Interests:

My lab conducts research on how people pay attention, avoid distraction, and switch between mental tasks (aspects of cognitive control) while performing a range of cognitive tasks involving, visual attention, memory, language, and decision making. Research projects use computerized cognitive testing and EEG (scalp recording of electrical activity of the brain) methodologies. The lab also has a focus on how cognitive function changes with age, and on cognitive aspects of health psychology.

Students wishing to work with me should email me for an appointment to discuss their fit with the lab.
