Dr. Scott Ravyts is a licensed psychologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at UNC-Charlotte. He directs the Pain and Transdiagnostic Health (PATH) Lab which seeks to examine how biopsychosocial factors affect pain. Dr. Ravyts’ program of research is particularly focused on understanding how comorbid health conditions (e.g., insomnia, PTSD) and social context can influence one’s ability to cope with pain.
